Any R.N's or docs ever heard of this? I remember my brother had it is it possible I had a mild case at the same time?? Both my parents are deceased so there isn't anyone to ask. I do remember my mother telling me I had the German Measles as an infant but that would be different right??

I developed these spots two days ago. They don't itch. They are about 3-5mm in size. They are on my hip and cover an area about the size of my fist. They seem to be fading. I've had these before and I don't have any other symptoms. Still, it seems weird that they come out of the blue and I don't know if it's something I should see a doctor about. It looks like blood vessels have broken under my skin or something.

My son injured his big toe at camp two weeks ago and his nail has detached from the nail bed. It's still attached at the back and along the sides (I think). We've been covering it with a guaze bandage and it hasn't fallen off yet. Should we continue to protect it or let it come off. I heard if you take it off too soon you can cause the cuticle to close and a new nail will not form. He plays ice hockey and wants to play a pick up game tonight. I'm afraid it will cause the nail to come off completely.

1) I have trouble making friends
2) I have somewhat of a hard time feeling sorry for people, but I do sometimes.
3) I feel somewhat as though I live in a world of my own, but I know that I am somehow connected to the world around me.
4) I don't twitch in awkward ways, but I did have some repetitive, awkward habits as a young child, which I have overcome.
5) I don't like being hugged, but I appreciate whoever is hugging me because I know it must mean that they love me.
6) I want to branch out and make some new friends and have a more normal life. I want to get married and have a child.
7) I have been homeschooled my whole life, so I haven't had the valuable experience with people that I need. I do go to church, but I have a hard time talking to people there, too.
8) No one seems to share many interests with me. I don't have obcessive interests.
9) I'm not intersted in science or technology, and my IQ is slightly above average.
10) Did I mention I desire a normal life?

I'll answer my own question here as I wasn't sure how else to get this information out there for everyone to read and judge for themselves.

I strongly urge you to read this story. It's my own battle with severe ulcerative colitis. I'm not a Dr. & I'm not selling anything. This is just valuable information.

I suffered for years and years before making a life or death decision. What I learned saved my life, and if you suffer as I have, hopefully you'll look into the same answer that I found & start feeling better yourselves.

It's a miserable illness and there is no official cure. I can tell you this though...I have it as severe as one can, all throughout my large intestine up to the ileium, and today...I can eat ice cream and fruit with the skin on it, and thai food, and so can you. Please read on & get well soon.

at the moment im wanting to move from my flat because of loud noise constantley, people having sex at night, some aggressive guy with a girl. groups of youths in large numbers acting threatening and makin loud noise constantley, motor mikes, cars drivin fast all time, shouting, so thats very stressfull an depressing, the authorities are acting really slow about it. they say they need lots of evidence. and gettin out of here wont be an overnight process. so its very despair inducing. but just latley, im staying in alot. i feel withdrawn, im sat at computer feeling remote, and distant. distracted by my worries. my curtains have been closed all the time. just wanna be in my own little world. im filled with high anxiety and panic constantly, low moods, feeling dispair, feel nervous & scared of where i live, just wanna be inside everyday on computer, browsin or bein on my website. feeling like theres daunting prospects ahead and tryin to figure it out. but racin thoughts make it difficult

Recently there was a very large industrial fire in Western Sydney. The smoke contained aerosols and paint thinners and made me quite nauseous. 2 weeks after this fire I am now experiencing the worst asthma I've had in 20 years. I'm interested in possible reasons for a delayed reaction between exposure to the cloud of toxics and an asthmatic response. I wonder if the industrial pollution (which recirculates around Sydney 'forever', given the way air flows throughout the Sydney Basin):
1. changes composition via exposure to sunlight, and becomes more irritative to lungs;
2. mixes with other pollutants and generates other more irritative chemical compounds??
