I developed these spots two days ago. They don't itch. They are about 3-5mm in size. They are on my hip and cover an area about the size of my fist. They seem to be fading. I've had these before and I don't have any other symptoms. Still, it seems weird that they come out of the blue and I don't know if it's something I should see a doctor about. It looks like blood vessels have broken under my skin or something.

Another symptom of neurofibromatosis.
Do younhave a lot of birth marks on your body? 6 or more, along with these new purple spots, is an indication of NF. See a Dr and get a diagnosis.

I'd definately see a dr about it,if it's something that is reoccuring. It might be nothing, but either way, just to be safe, see a dr,that's the only way you'll know for sure, and good luck

It sounds like bruises. But if you don't think that what it is you can call the doctors office and ask. You don't always have to go in to get answers.

Umm I think they are just bruises. Nothing to worry about. But you might want to be more careful not to bump into stuff!!!!!
