ok...during the month of may i was on the pill, i was supposed to get my period on the 26, but i only spotted that weekend (memorial day weekend)...i stopped BC then, my husban and I are trying to get pregnant, i was always very regular...every 28 days, and it lasts up to 5 days, not more than that... if that spotting i had was really my period i should've gotten my period again, that's if i didn't get pregnant in june, but it's the 27th now and there's no signs of it coming...could it happen that fast after stopping BC? (becoming pregnant), how soon would you recomend i take a pregnancy test?

I didn't know I was allergic to poison ivy, but I got it. I thought it was a mosquito bite, but it got worse. I tried hot water, rubbing alcahol, calamine lotion, Ivarest lotion, and a cold shower with little or no effect! I had to go to the doctor and get steroids tto help with the rashes and itching. Are there any remedies that ou've tried that actually bring relief from the itching?!

Hi, I've been suffering from bulimia for a couple of years but nobody knows about it, I haven't told anyone, not my family or my friends.

Anyway, I had an appointment at the dentist today after school for a check up, so I just went by myself, my mum didn't come with me. I saw the hygienist first and she did some cleaning and stuff and said I had some cavities in my teeth, but then she went away and talked to the dentist for a while and when I saw him he said I have cavities in practically all of my teeth and he asked me if I had an eating disorder.........I tried to deny it but he said he could tell because of the condition of my teeth.

I'm really scared now - first, I'm scared that he'll tell my mum about the bulimia, is he allowed to do that? Second, how on earth am I going to explain to my mum how I ended up with so many cavities without telling her about the bulimia? I really don't want her to know. She always says I'm fat, that's why I do it.

I had a baby 6 weeks ago, and they gave me an IV to give me pain killers then to keep me hydrated. Since I left the hospital, I have had a bump in the vein just below where the needle was put in. It is also slightly bruised and there is a bit of soreness when i touch it.
I have never had an IV before, is this normal, or could something be wrong?
Does anyone know why this is?

I've had a bad cough lately and now, I feel like I have 'pulled' the back of my tongue. It hurts to swallow and even talk, and it's not my throat. Can a sprain/pull on the tongue even be possible?

The scars are 46 years old and were caused by scalding water when I was a baby. I have spoken to a few doctors and well they say just put lotion on them, this does not help.

I go on holiday on the 16th July and always have dreadful trouble sleeping in strange places (i take things like my own pillow to try to help, but it doesn't).

Could i get away with drinking alcohol during the day (up to 2 hours before bed) then drink at least a pint of water and take a herbal sleeping aid? would it be safe?

Plus i can't swallow tablets (i even struggle with really tiny ones. i normally crush them, i noticed you can't do this to kalms) is there any herbal sleeping tablets i CAN crush? plus what about tea's or syrup? are there any and are they any good? help!

Ok I have a cold, and you know when you are sick your ears tend to like clog up, it kinda feels like you have water in them, well how do I make them like...unclog, they hurt really bad and I am trying to yawn but it is not working at all, any suggestions????
