Goodness!!! NO!! I'm 36, I used to weigh 140 (down to 132) and even though I wasn't comfortable (weighing 110 all my life), I hardly felt I was fat! And plus, you have an inch in height on me!

Sweety, you are ONLY 13. A lot of girls seem to put on a little weight around that age, and then blossom when they get to be about 15-16.

If you are uncomfortable, speak to your doctor about losing weight, but do not try to deal with it by yourself! Take up some gymnastics or dance. It will make you feel better.

First, you need to see how your weight is distributed throughout your body before you can say whether or not you're overweight. Are you blessed with big bosoms at an early age or genetically have a big, round bottom? If so, you could be just fine. Second, you should see a doctor to determine that, as well. How much of your weight is made of body fat, compared to bone density or the other things I already mentioned? Third, you're only 13. You still have time to grow into your body. If you are afraid of being or becoming fat, you should eat right and exercise.

I weigh that much and I'm 28 and 5 ft 4 so you probably are a little overweight. Nothing you can't fix with some exercise and heathier food. However it also depends on how much muscle you have versus how much fat you have. If you have a lot of muscle on your body you are going to weigh more and it doesn't necessarily mean youre unhealthy.

If you're still not sure go to your doctor to get some advice.

I checked the body mass index (BMI) of a 13 year old female who weighs 135lbs and is 5'3". The results say that you are in danger of becoming overweight.

I suggest that this person:
> limits the amount of TV they watch
> focuses on eating healthy foods
> tries to incorporate exercise into their daily routine.

Note: An adult, at the same height/weight is considered normal. Don't stress about it too much, but realize that it could become more serious if the necessary precautions are not taken. :)

Hope this helps...

Depends on if that weight is fat tissue or muscle (since muscle weighs move in volume than fat). I would use the pinch test to determine if you are fat: pinch the skin on your belly and if you cannot pinch the fingers together closer than an inch, then you are probably fat.

Nope. You're just right. Your body is going through some major changes right now. Hang in there and learn to love the new curves;) Remember to eat healthy and find ways to live an active lifestyle now because it's harder when you get older.

Nope I don't think you're fat. Just a little thick. I'm also 5'3" and weigh 135 but it's all in my hips and butt.

not really. maybe for 13 but you will grow and it will even out nicely with a reasonable diet and active lifestyle. unless your a shut-in that eats all day, dont worry your not fat now and you wont be later.
