Health - 26 June 2006

Hi. I'm only 14 years old but I have really bad teeth because I didn't see the dentist for a few years. I had some fillings when I was little and the dentist said I need a lot more now :o(

Anyway, one of my teeth that had a filling in it from when I was younger was really sore last week but then all of a sudden stopped hurting and I told the dentist today when I went to get some of my fillings done. My mum had said I would probably need a root canal on it, but the dentist said it had to get pulled out.

So today I got that tooth pulled out and I got fillings in three other teeth and I still have to get another 3 done next week. I feel really bad cos I didn't look after my teeth well enough or I wouldn't need fillings :o( My brother and sister have got perfect teeth.

Anyway, why did the dentist pull out my tooth? When do they pull them out instead of doing fillings and stuff?

I was diagnosed in February of 2005, and there has been no change. Been to 8-10 different doctors, had so many diagnostic tests done that I've lost count, and I've tried all kinds of medications and treatments. Nothing has worked ! If someone is dealing with this very strange syndrome and has found a way to make it better, please let me know. Everything that I have read says that it can last for years !

I had a deep filling put in a tooth about 6 weeks ago, but over the weekend I got really bad toothache in it again. I'm 250 miles away from my dentist so I had to go to a different one today as an emergency. He did an x-ray and said the original filling was too close to the nerve so he did a root canal and put a temporary medicated filling in the tooth. He also did a filling in the tooth directly behind it which had a large cavity he thought might be contributing to the pain (I'm in the middle of getting a LOT of fillings with my own dentist but I'm home for 6 weeks holiday).

The pain is a lot better now than it was over the weekend, but I'm really quite tender in the quadrant that was worked on. I know it's just from the drilling etc and because the cavity was pretty deep, but how long will it take for that pain to go away? I've been in pain constantly now for the past 4 or 5 days!!!

everyone seems hooked on protein whey...and to be honest, it kinda worries me. also, if you stop using it, it seems like all of your muscle will just go away. For about a month and a half i have been bleeding and have had a serious headache. I keep putting it off but about a week ago I started bleeding really big heavy clumps of blood, it's like i can just feeling coming out like a river. I'm in the restroom every 10 minutes, and i still have the same headache. Anyone?
