everyone seems hooked on protein whey...and to be honest, it kinda worries me. also, if you stop using it, it seems like all of your muscle will just go away. (uneducated assumption.) so i was wondering what are your opinions on it, and also, if there are any other things you could consume for similar results?

Well obviously you don't want to take steroids because someone will notice eventually. But just do a lot of weightlifting and you should be all set. I'd say about 2 hours every day or 2 1 and a 1/2 hour sessions if you absolutely need to. Benching will get your muscles up in your arms and for a balanced lift the squat is really good. It works your entire legs when you go up so try 3 indivicual lifts of that at max every once in a while during your workout as long as you're not too tired. Also switch every day. Do something like Sun-Tues-Thurs-Sat you go hard, lifting at close to max and then the remaining days you lift less weight but more reps. Either way you're gonna build muscle so do it your way.

"Of the food intake that the body needs, protein is of primary importance. The only thing that your body needs more thanprotein is water."

Having a diet high in protein can replace having to use whey products. Eating things like tuna, chicken, egg whites, various seeds and nuts, non-fat cottage cheese, milk, tofu, beans can provide a good source.

Stock up on some high protein meals: chicken, fish, steaks (the first two choices being the healthier). Work out right after work and then eat that healthy high protein dinner right after working out. All natural way....it's good to go.

A good diet with all kinds of protein . How often do you see a lion work out. Any one kind of protein is harmful. So be-happy and eat lots of lean meat. especially the organ meats and parts.

The best amino acids for building muscle are found in egg whites.
I have found it best to hard boil them so the yolk (high in fat) can be easily separated. However, occasionally I'll fry some up (using pam spray) leaving 1 yolk to 4 whites.

Good luck!
