The funny thing is: I don't really want to throw them away and i don't have many thing and most things i don't use i throw away, but this stuff that i'm talking about i love!!! And i don't know why i have that tought of 'maybe i should throw these things away' that's why i placed this under mental health. I would actually be sad to see them go. So why do i have this tought? Why do i think like this? And what should i do? Everyone who says 'give them to charity' i agree. But this stuff is records (music i like), drawings, and things that i have that are 'one of a kind' special things to me...
It's not stuff that 'i need' it's stuff that i like.
Is it worth keeping? I think so. It's things that are meaningful to me.

since this is in the "mental health" section and one of the 1st
steps in suicide is giving away or throwing away things, im a tad
concerned.

I am crazy about de-cluttering but I think that when it's something you love, that has special meaning for you, that brings up good feelings when you see it .. then it's worth keeping.
The best answer to this question, I found in this amazing little book called Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui by Karen Kingston, (it's more about clutter than windchimes don't worry), and it really cleared my head about what to keep and what to throw.
This book has made the biggest impact in my life .. try and get it.

If you do not need them anymore and they are trash or broken than yes. But do not be too wasteful if they are fine, keep in mind you can also donate them to thrift stores and some take money of your taxes by doing that to help out.

Clear your clutter and get rid of things that hold you back, that is a good thing. But you would be better off donating what you don't use to charity. :)

if you don't need it... then yes.
my mother and grandmother are "pack rats" -- they keep almost everything because they feel like it is a waste to throw away things... and it kills me because the house is filled with junk!

Whatever it is, if you haven't used it in five or more years, get rid of it.
