I was diagnosed in February of 2005, and there has been no change. Been to 8-10 different doctors, had so many diagnostic tests done that I've lost count, and I've tried all kinds of medications and treatments. Nothing has worked ! If someone is dealing with this very strange syndrome and has found a way to make it better, please let me know. Everything that I have read says that it can last for years !

not me, but I know someone who has that same thing and she has found no relief either. I'm guessing there's some kinda facial nerve damage going on there. Don't know what to do about that. I suppose you've already been to neurologists, neurosurgeons, & pain specialists (?) if you've seen that many doctors already. I wish I knew more. sorry I wasn't any help. but I sympathize greatly.
