I am intrigued by thought of panning for gold and was curious if there were any places in Arkansas that a person could do this.

Which is a better box buy? I mean, First Edition boxes come
with more cards, and contain the same single cards, but
would it be more worthwhile to have series 1 instead of
first edition, and get different special cards? I'm new to baseball
card collecting.

here's my list so far...

*paper mache picture frames (like cardboard, cut out a picture frame shape, then paper mache over it using tissue paper and mix)

*paper mache pencil holders (take a can and cover with masking tape, then paper mache over it using tissue paper and mix)

does anyone else have any more ideas? thanks =]

I know this won't get many answers, but it's worth a try...

My sister was playing with my kendama (search kendama on the internet to see what it looks like) and she broke the part where the string and ball connect. The knot in the ball keeps slipping through the hole, making the ball fall off.

Is there a way I can fix this? I don't want to use super glue.

Thanks.

grosgrain ribbon without melting it? I joined a group order of large amounts of ribbon for making hairbows, etc. When it arrived, I was shocked to find that she had shipped it OFF THE SPOOL and all wadded up in the box. Yards and yards of it. Now it is so wrinkled. I am afraid that it will melt if I iron it. Any suggestions?

I am just curious as to how you make money off of it and if it's just a hobby instead of a money maker.

Without having to go out and buy a proper stamp, is it possible to make a simple wax stamp, or to just use it to seal a letter.

Well, I borrowed an electric guitar from a friend and see how I'd do, and I'm a complete wreck! Before we get more into it, yes, I have all the physical necessities to play it (guitar, pick, amp, tuner), I just don't know where I should begin with the actual music-making of the instrument. I've tried sites that give free lessons for beginners, but only to become lost reading the instructions from the early steps. The wording was just too unfriendly for a complete newbie like myself. So, here I am, if anyone can even give me a small push towards the right direction it'd be much appreciated.. Where should I start exactly?

Normally, I wouldn't even bother embarrassing myself like this, but I really want to instrumentally start something in music.

My grandfather archived many photographs and newspaper clippings in a scapbook by using rubber cement to adhere the papers to the scrapbook. Now, all the clippings are starting to deteriorate due to the high acid level. How can I safely remove the papers and pictures from the scrapbook to save them? Help!

Ok so recintly I've tookin a great interest in archers and bows and mess like and I have been wanderin how to make the best arrow possible and I cant really figure out what would be a good aproche. Duck tape wheighes a TON and would wheigh my arrow down which would not make it as acurate as wished for. On the other hand it is very sturdy and powerfull last longer. Painting tape on the other hand is VERY lightwheight and makes the arrow more aqurate, arrowdinamice, and simply more lightweght, on the other hand its to weak ive had to replace 1 arrow with 3 layers of tape. Lastly, feathers are very hard to get and rare so I havent used those yet.

So what you guys can help me with is if yall are fleachers, rednecks, yankees, geeks, or plainly simple people tell me what you guys have found BEST as a guide or if I got a good idea up there but jes dono about it.
