If I'm right in what I've heard, there are a few ways to do this trick. It will need practice though!
First, place the coin you are vanishing on the table. (no duh) As you press down on it with a finger, sneak your other hand under the table (have another identical coin in that hand). As you "press" the coin 'through' the table, quickly and descretely flick the tabletop coin sideways, into a napkin, behind a saltshaker, etc. Place one of these things there before hand. Click the coin in the hand under the table against teh underside of the table to produce the illusion that the coin passed through the wood. Now, bring both hands out, and WALA!!!
Practice, experiment, and you'll master it!
