I know this won't get many answers, but it's worth a try...

My sister was playing with my kendama (search kendama on the internet to see what it looks like) and she broke the part where the string and ball connect. The knot in the ball keeps slipping through the hole, making the ball fall off.

Is there a way I can fix this? I don't want to use super glue.

Thanks.

Could you take a common pin and push it into the string and feed it back into the handle and then the pull the string and hopefully the common pin will go like this ______ and not get back out the hole. Not much help.... I'll keep looking....The above address show you some different types.

I think you need a bigger knot at the end of the string.
These knots are mostly called stopper knots.
The most known is the figure of eight:

And other is the double overhand:

One of the biggest stopper knots is Ashley's stopper knot:

If these are still not big enough you can combine a stopperknot with a bead.
Or tie a button knot like the Turks Head Knot:

Or a Monkeys Fist:

In these last two you can put a bead or marble to get to the right size if needed.
