I would prefer a product that lets me use the markings already on the pattern. In case it isn't clear, this is a sewing/clothing construction question. Thanks.

I had a receipe for playdough that I used for my kids last summer, and have somehow misplaced it. It had flour, salt, and water in it. I had torn it out of a magazine, and now I can't find it anywhere. I have searched the internet and can't locate it. Does anyone have this receipe laying around? It didn't involve cooking at all. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am working an a tunisian baby blanket with a size j bates hook with the flexable expansion. The hook part is so short it hurts to hold it. I don't want to quit, but I need to find a hook that will hold all the stitches in a row. I think a longer hook would work, but do they make them long enough to hold all the stitiches?

I like to crochet, keeps my hands "busy"! I have made blankets, baby blankets that I donated, scarves, I want to do something that could be giving as a gift but not too hard. I know the basic stitches, sc, dc, etc. Any ideas? Maybe a very easy slipper pattern for my 8 year old granddaughter and her friends? Thank You.

I was going to use glimmer tulle, but the amount I need is just too expensive. I found ivory nylon netting for under a $1.00 a yd. at 72" wide. Would this work as well to drape and would it look good?
Thanks for the help!

I just got out of a 15-month relationship, and i'm beginning to realize that my biggest hobby during those 15 months was to spend time with my (at the time) girlfriend. So now I'm bored a lot of the time and I need a hobby or just anything to help to keep her off my mind...so does anybody have any suggestions for a hobby (preferably something constructive) for a single 22-year-old guy in Norman, Oklahoma?

When you go to craft fairs people have made wind mobiles out of two liter plastic pop bottles , they put a whole in the lid and one thru the bottom, using the long bottom part of a cloths hanger they put in thru the center to hang it, they are cut kinda half moon about 1 inch apart, then they bend them outward, just can not find how to make them, takes very little wind to move them and they are as pretty, some put tape around out side, some puts flags , flowers in side... sure could use help with this..Thanking you in advance

I want to start sewing. i want to be able to make curtains, skirts, and the occasional halloween outfit. I really like the idea of this machine, because it also does embroidery to embellish small areas. Any experiences? any information on whether it will be discontinued soon? is there a better model, or brand??
I don't want to spend thousands +.
Is it too noisy?
Is it too heavy?
Is it easy for a beginner?
Can it use the feet for specialty projects?
Are the embroidery cards too expensive?

Any information would be appreciated.

I'm pretty new to sewing and I'm making Simplicity #3964, part of the Built by Wendy line. The directions say as follows:

To reinforce inner corners of front at small and large dots, stitch along seam line for about 1" each side of dots stitching through dots. Clip to stitching at each dot.

Clip what to what stitching? The grammar at the end of the first sentence doesn't even make sense, please help!
