I work in a doctors office and we have coloring contests all the time. My boss doesn't love the idea that we are just giving them papers to color and wants them to be more creative. We have construction paper here and some foam shapes. Any ideas on an EASY craft project that the kids can make a birthday cake that won't be messy and will be open-ended.?

I am looking to make some HO scale buildings for my Husbands HO scale train setup. Is there anywhere I can get plans on the internet? Or do I have to buy the laser cut ones from the hobby store?

I know there are multiple kinds out there and I was wondering which one you thought worked the best. Ones that stay on, are easy to apply, don't come off in the wash, or maybe all three in one? I plan to use a shirt made with 60% cotton and 40% rayon.

I specifically want to see an article by Joann Swanson about a ceramics studio. I don't know which month. I cannot seem to get this from the search guide which I have. Knowing which month would help, but I have looked through the ones I own. I do not have all of that year. Maybe someone else had this same desire after reading the Joann article in December!

I'm talking about the thing you are most driven to do and enjoy most out of all the hobbies, careers, jobs, or other activities you have. Do you think you are good at it, able to make a living from it, and able to do it for the rest of your life?

I'm on the decorating committee for a formal banquet and the theme is Under the Sea.

Consists of decorating the walls, around the dance floor, a small stage, ceiling has rafters, and tables.

Have any original ideas?
Or any ideas at all?

I recognise some of the machines, but it would be nice to know the make and model of what he is using. If I'm gonna dream, I want to know what I'm dreaming about!

My husband travels a lot and has time on his hands in the evenings. He wants to put together a kit he can take with him so he can make stained glass projects to compliment my woodworking projects (windows for display cases, decoration for inset mirrors, inlays for desks and entertainment centers) when he's bored. We've never worked with it, so we're starting from scratch. I know not all equipment is created equal, regardless of hobby, so how about some pointers for a beginner?

Ok, I have a craft project that calls for grosgrain ribbon, elastic, and bells to make a holiday dog/cat collar. My question is, does grosgrain ribbon stretch with the ribbon to get it over the pet's head?

I recently just left our local hospital with my 7 month old who was in PICU for 4 weeks and my heart went out to the other children I saw there. I would like to get some blankets together for the children. Most don't have visitors all the time and the baby blankets are really thin. They range from ages zero to 18 but I don't have any experience with sewing or anything. If anyone would like to help me please let me know. I would really like to bless as many children as possible. Thank you so much for your consideration and I look forward to seeing what God is going to do through all this.
