Above is a photo of the item. It is about 13 1/2 Inches tall. The top section of his hat is attached by cork and comes off. When you wind it up the figurine rotates and it plays music. It has no markings of any kind. No copyright or manufactures mark. I checked eBay and search it on Google but couldn't find any information on it.

Anybody know who made it, when it was made, and what the value is?

TIA

I was just wondering whether it is possible to cross the Pacific Ocean, from Brisbane, Australia to San Francisco, California, USA, in a simple row boat, without any outboard engines. And how long it will take to row... I want to attempt it, any help on this forum will be greatly appreciated. Please give genuine answers only, I am really serious in undertaking this adventure.

I'm just checking things out and trying to come up with some ideas to start practicing how to make them, a few people I know are getting laptops and I thought it would be fun to make them a personalized gift. I'd like to use fabric.

Budget = $200. For an 11-year-old beginner who wants to make t-shirts to sell for a good cause. Don't mind if it is new or used. Which sewing machines are recommended?

Okay, I liked it a lot, and my mom said she'll buy it for me for sure, she promised. Now I am starting to think that it will be to easy for me, I have no magic experience. But I pick things up really fast, and I want some thing challenging, and it should have a lot of (i mean like 200-100000000000...) tricks in it. I want It to be fun, challenging, and amazing tricks, that aren't seen often. I want this a lot, because I like magic, its cool. Its fun to watch magic tricks. To me, it seems more fun, doing and seeing peoples faces, and their concentration focusing on trying to figure out how that works. I love magic and I want to have a nice, nonexpensive, kit.

PS i am not choosing to be a magician for my career, but if I did how much money would I make if I was good? bad? ok? famous? not known? Should I make it like a mini job to do for fun, but put my main job first, whatever.

I save them when I get them, and I got one that is very light and has the same color that some of my real silver coins have. And for those of you that collect old coins, it has the same sound to it that the real silver coins have. I am just wondering if there were any special issues made in silver.

I want to purchase a new sewing machine. I have looked at many different models on the web and read about the various features. I will use the machine primarily for making quilts, both piecing and machine quilting. I would also like to have some extra stitches, such as basting, zigzag, appliqué, and the stitching that resembles hand quilting. Basically I just want quilting stitches, but others are okay to have too. I also need to be able to drop the feed dogs and a darning or walking foot will be needed. I do not need to do embroidery. I also need a machine that runs quietly, because hubby works nights, and I sew during the day while he’s sleeping. I am not stuck on any particular brand and am open to all suggestions. This will be my first purchase of a brand new machine, so please keep the comments to personal knowledge you have had with the machine you recommend. I thought it might be a good time to buy with Mother’s Day coming up, there might be some sales. I would like to spend less than $800, but if the machine you recommend is more than that, its ok too. I would consider a reconditioned or slightly used model.

A hobby is something a person likes to pursue in the spare time apart from his regular occupation. Hobbies which involve collecting things are quite popular. People collect stamps, coins, dolls, books, gramophone records etc. Some collect theatre programmes, menus etc. Photography also is a popular hobby along with painting. People also keep pets. Hobbies are mainly for recreation though some benefit from them monetarily also.

I started out with a simple bird feeder, then carved one out indian style...a few beads and feathers. Now I am inlaying beads and stones. Anyone out there into this? I had grown my own gourds but ran out! I love this new passion. Any ideas on where to get more gourds? Any cool ideas? Would love to find a fellow "carver"! Thanks, Debi

im asking my friend to prom by painting it on her plate when we go out to eat, the pottery place nearby doesn't have any plats that look like it and i dont have that much time to wait for it to be glazed and fired. I was thinking i might be able to find food safe paint for a pre glazed plate from the restaurant. or i was thinking multicolored sharpie pens. that might be a bad idea though lol.

Ok, I want to be a Girl Scout but, there are no local troops. I think, if I am correct, There is a thing called Juliet where it is being a 'solo' Girl Scout. How would I do this? Who should I get help from and are there any materials I need? I am 14 and have Girl Scouting experience. I think I was a last year Brownie or a first year Junior. Thank you for your assistance.
