Has anybody made their own laptop sleeve, how did you do that and what did you use?

I'm just checking things out and trying to come up with some ideas to start practicing how to make them, a few people I know are getting laptops and I thought it would be fun to make them a personalized gift. I'd like to use fabric.

You can just trace around one and make a basic envelope. It should be padded though. Whether to quilt it or not would be up to you.
