Ok, I want to be a Girl Scout but, there are no local troops. I think, if I am correct, There is a thing called Juliet where it is being a 'solo' Girl Scout. How would I do this? Who should I get help from and are there any materials I need? I am 14 and have Girl Scouting experience. I think I was a last year Brownie or a first year Junior. Thank you for your assistance.

Yeah I forgot all about that "Juliet" thing. I think it's named after Juliet Low, the founder of Girl Scouts. Check out the website. I couldn't find anything about Juliets though. But I did learn that the Daisies were named after Juliet's childhood nickname!

***darn! the lady before me beat me to the answer! But definitely look into Juliette. I was a Brownie then a Junior when I was little. It was a lot of fun!***

okay I did some more searching for you and found a link that is full of info about Juliette. Only thing is it's for the state of MN but read the pdf brochure.

Yes you can become a Girl Scout without joining a troop. Yes it is called Juilette after Juilette Lowe who founded Girl Scouts. The website is: www. girlscouts.org. You can find your contact information on this website. I have been a Girl Scout volunteer for 5 years and my daughter is currently in her first year as a Junior Scout. Please pursue this because Girl Scouting is such a wonderful thing.

Well, a BOY Scout can be a LONE scout. In order to do this there are instructions in the Boy Scout Manual. Get an equivalent manual and follow the instructions, or contact the Girl Scouts or "Girls Incorporated" - they changed the name a few years back.

yes you can, you can be a juliette. you would need to reregister with your council, and they could help you out. usually there is a department that handles juliettes. also they might be able to provide you with a mentor.

and because you dont have a troop, other than working on badges, go to your local GS camp, and other events, and you may be able to find another girl from around the council and become friends, and then you could possbily join her troop or something if it is close by... (if that is what you want).

if you need ANYTHING at all, feel free to IM me on yahoo (tribalsunfire828) or AIM (starz0731) and i would be glad to help... ive been a GS camp counselor for 5 years, a low ropes instructor, i'm a gold award girl scout, and GS for life. i am going to be a leader soon, i am so excited. :)

IM me if you need anything :) if you need any help, i'm your woman! ^_^

good luck!

Men aren’t “supposed” to seek out advice on how to get women or ask their friends how do I get a girl. We don’t sit around analyzing each other’s relationships. Still, picking up beautiful women is a skill that anyone can learn with enough time, practice, and access to the right resources. Read here https://tr.im/Q4Ntu
There is a ton of stuff ( to help you get started. Sometimes the techniques go against “conventional wisdom” or what seems to work in movies and romance novels. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try them – they DO work and they are a huge advantage over the competition.

I don't know if that would work because you have to go to meetings, do girl scout things and who will award you badges?

You could always call and ask them directly: http://www.girlscouts.org/join/girls.asp
