Bostick Titan Bond Plus glues arcrylic to glass with a water-tight seal. Silicon works too but not as well. Alot of times these two types of glues are used in fish tanks and artifical reefs.

Bostick is nearly impossible to get in the UK but easy to come by in Australia. You may have to search the internet to find something comparable. However, if you don't need a watertight seal, silicon glue can be had at any hardware store.

Good luck!

Hmm.. If you whack it (drop the bike), metal will bend, fiberglass will crack and acrylic ? IDK - crack in half ? It's more important you provide a good support for the box bolted to the bike frame than that you make the box strong. You might want to position the box forward over the pillion seat if you are moving heavy objects - weight too far back is unstable and makes you do accidental wheelies. It needs to be properly waterproof if you get any rain - i.e. if you turn a hose on it it should not leak. Make sure you don't have bolt heads sticking into your papers or cutting up a customer's briefcase. You might need a false floor. My current box started life as a storage container for an open boat, made of glass-covered plywood. It's small, and ridiculously hard to put things into, through a twist-lock hatch, but it's tough enough to drop the bike on offroad.

What type of glue?? I woudl suggest using hot glue or plexi glue. The best person who could answer it is your local hardware person.

i dont think you can get them to stay together if it gets moved around much, you would need to use a clear glue that will hold to both items.

Try aquarium glue. You may have to build it up and then it would be visible, but it should hold.
