I'm a veggie and I normally have a nut roast for Christmas dinner instead of the turkey, but this year I feel like something different. What are other people having?

OK I have gone veggie about two months ago... it will be a forever thing, and I am doing it for health reasons. I am just ready to be healthy! Now my husband has just informed me that he can not stay married to a vegetarian. He said I was not one when we met, and he won't deal with that. I don't want a divorce, but I am not going to just start eating meat again to keep him happy. It shouldn't matter to him how I eat. I don't push anyone else to eat how I do, I make my own veggie meals along side their meat meals... Help! How should I handle this??

I just recently became a vegetarian, and I know it contains milk, that's ok, I'm just wondering if it contains animal parts like bones or skin or anything.

I'm a vegan, have been for a year and a half, I went vegan for animal rights. Would you go vegan/vegetarian? Why would you do it? Join Peta!! (People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals) It rocks!!! lolz go to google and type in "chew on this reason to go vegan" and watch the movie!! It's sad, it's what made me go vegan.

I'm a vegetarian, but I'm going to Navy Basic training. I know they wont accomidate to my vegetarian diet, and I've been thinking that if I get desperate enough I could eat a bit. But I've been this way for almost 10 years, and I don't know if I could get over the guilt. Any advice?

I don't eat meat because I believe eating animals is ecologically damaging and environmentally unsustainable. What are the other reasons for other people being vegetarian?

If a product doesn't state that it's suitable for vegetarians (or doesn't have the big 'V' on it) does that mean it isn't? I live in the UK by the way, if this helps. Thanks :)

I work in a school lunch room and we have daily choice of PB&J, with my vegan/ nonpork eating children I am very picky about cross contact, One of my co-workers would get upset with me and and throw potato wedges on plates I was being cautious with, when I spoke to my boss about it she said I was going overboard. Am I?

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY BRANDS OF CHOCOLATE THAT DON'T CONTAIN STEARIC ACID?
Stearic Acid—It may sound less gross than "lard," but stearic acid, which often rears its ugly head in chocolate and vitamins, comes from a fatty substance taken from slaughtered pigs’ stomachs—or from cows, sheep, or dogs and cats euthanized in animal shelters. Still want to chew on that piece of Fido?

I thought eveyone should know (although you probably don't want to-in such cases ignorance is bliss!)that most chocolate contain stearic acid,so if you're a chocolate addict who thinks their leading a committed vegetarian life-style, think again!
Again, does anyone know any brands of chocolate that don't contain stearic acid??? I'm one of those chocolate addicts!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
