Well firstly, even if you give me a dish of meat. It won't last forever and i would be still stuck hungry.

By the way, us vegetarian would be the least people going hungry anyway. We can grow our own food. Non-vegs has to grow food to feed their next meal.

First of all, I must say that I am not a vegetarian or a vegan, but I have spent time learning about all sorts of diets (lifestyles, not fad weight loss diets), and I would not recommend someone who has not eaten meat in a long time (if ever) eat a plate of nothing but. It would put the digestive system under great strain and likely make the person very sick temporarily. If they are already starving, this may be more than they can take and actually kill them if they are weak enough already. If the plate had both meat and vegetable matter (fruits and veggies), it would be safer. Or, in a healthy person who simply does not eat meat eating a plate full of meat would usually produce an upset stomach, possibly with cramping, gas, vomiting and/or diarrhea, but if they were already weakened, it might be too much strain.

I think I would just starve. I've accidentally eaten cheese and it upsets my stomach, so I can imagine that after taking a bite out of meat I would be in some major pain.

I do locate myself in some cases somewhat mystified via what you describe. Of the three vast reasons to bypass veg (wellness, ecosystem, animal cruelty/rights), i stumble on that diverse people placed a diverse degree of value on one and all. i'm a vegan and my fiance is ovo-lacto-pesco. I place quite equivalent value on each and all of the three substantial reasons for being vegetarian. He, on the different hand, notwithstanding further conscious of the matters, places the main value on the wellness reasons, much less on the environmental reasons, and the least on animal matters (if any in any respect). possibly he purely isn't stricken via the cruelty like i'm. i think of he purely prefers to no longer think of approximately--according to risk with the aid of fact he does not sense like there is something greater he can do to boot being conscious. some days, I prefer I had the skill to ignore what i understand, too, lol, yet i do no longer. Why can he placed it out of his recommendations and that i can't? i in my view do no longer understand.

Well, there are a lot of people out there who'd say they'd stick by their morals and not eat it, or some such bollocks.
When you start becomming so weak you can hardly move, are afflicted by terrible stomach cramps and know you could die soon, I think much more than 99% would eat the meat.

Morals areso much easier to keep to when pain and death isn't looming over your head.

I'm a veggie, but I would eat the meat for survival. It's nice to live in a place where I have the option to eat however I choose, but there are people all over the world who do not have this luxury. If I became one of those people, I would not turn my nose up at food, but I would be grateful and thank the animal for giving it's life so that I could live another day.

Just tell him or her," Oh baby, I really really would like to eat them with you, but, guess what? I am a great VEGETARIAN! I will always keep my promises, as you know. Oh my God, did I say I am a vegetarian and always keep my promises? Then sorry sweatheart, I really really can't enjoy the meat with you~"

Hey, how's that?

If the idea was a person(Me) was truely starving. Yeah I'd eat the meat. I do not eat meat because I beleive it is not the healthist way to live. No moral action involved.
