I just recently became a vegetarian, and I know it contains milk, that's ok, I'm just wondering if it contains animal parts like bones or skin or anything.

I know gelatin contains animal skin and bones (not hooves) I researched it, and gelatin isn't on the ingredients list for the pudding. I just wanted to double check since it is made by the same company and all. Oh and this is not a phase. I'm not a child. I get more than enough protein from non-animal sources and I've done plenty of research about going veg being healthier.

Since you are concentrating on the pudding rather than the gelatin dessert, I think you'll be okay, vegan-wise. The wiggly gelatin has animal products (the gelatin is made from cow hooves) but I don't think that product is in the creamy puddings.

Instead of using cow's milk, which isn't really healthy, you could try using rice milk or almond milk. I've used both (chocolate) in chocolate pudding and they are SUPER!! And you can top it off with non-dairy whipped cream. I'm not a vegetarian, I just have a sensitivity to milk.

The stuff that makes the pudding thicken is corn starch or other modified food starch that comes from plants.

Get creative--maybe you can invent a whole new holiday pudding and get rich and famous.

ENJOY!

Unfortunately, gelatin of any kind is made from animal hooves, like horse and pig.

Pardon, I thought the pudding had some gelatin in it as well.

it seems people have already answered your question about the sugar substitute but I will add that I have looked up resources on the internet about substitutes and it shows that aspartame will break down in your system before it reaches the baby. For yourself I wouldn't eat it too much, but it will actually not hurt your baby. AND all jello is naturally fat free(not sugar free)....just limit your intake and you shouldn't have to worry about it. Eat some salads and fruit along with the unhealthy things

being a vegatarian is the most useless thing ever I'm sorry.

Meat is good for you: our teeth are designed to eat meat in an omnivor style, hense the cusps on your molars.

Meat has a lot of protein: Protein is your brains fuel and also is a key player in most all body working.

Meat has been attributed in part to our evolution to larger brains

you not eating meat isn't going to save any animal.. If you think were mean watch a lion or wolfs attack their prey..

even some plants are carnivors

some plants when injured send out distress signals and other plants will help heal the injured plant... ( look it up, don't know details)

it is such a phase, you being a vegatarian.. you just going to end up to full of vitamins and supplements which if taken in excess can have life long affects

a well balanced diet is best

OH YA AND TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION... yes jello has animal parts.. and most vegetarians eat animal and they don't even know it............You'd be surprised the few foods that don't envolve/have animals in them..

Even vegetarian foods commercially produced have been brough in the lime light for using animals........believe it or not!
