Lately I think I am just getting sick of eating the same thing. I mean, I change it up a lot, but its just normally a variation of the same things.

The Catch...I'm allergic to SOY!

I'm looking for something made with quinoa, pea or rice protien. I will eat whey, but I rather not. Any flavor is fine...something with 17 grams of protein or more. Any other non soy vegan protein source is welcome too.

I really like them, but I choose not to eat gelatin. I am talking about vanilla flavor with either Drumstick or Crunch coatings. Thanks!

I don't mean to offend meat eaters or anything, but why do they get so offended by us and say rude things.
I always hear meat eaters saying that we ( vegatarians and vegans) aren't sane or we are weak.
When this is entirely untrue.
we get great sources of protein from plants so they can't hold that against us and we eat a diet entirely based on veggie and fruits.( being a vegatarian or vegan is not all about not eating meat, its also about eating lots of vegatables) We are very healthy( if we really follow our diet) but what my question really is ,is why do meat eaters get so offended and say rude things about us?
(I am not trying to offend anyone)

I am looking into becoming a vegan, but if I am going to do this, I want to make sure I do it right. I was wondering what would be considered cruelty-free sugary substitutes for vegans. Know any specific brands that I could get at a Walmart? Is splenda considered safe? I know it is made from sugar, but I don't know if it uses refined sugar. Is it just refined sugar that is the problem, or can you use Raw Pure Cane sugar? Are sugar alcohols considered bad? Any on-line resources I could read would be great also. Thank you.

I'm vegetarian and are going vegan in a bout 3 months, (when my daughter is born) but I have some tough questions that are floating through my mind.

1. How do you deal with letting people babysit/take care of your child when you don't know what's in their food?

2. How do you deal with people telling you that your child is/is going to be unhealthy?

I know it's a lot easier to be vegetarian... 'just no meat please', but I WANT to go vegan and I've read that it's healthier for your kids anyway. But I'm really worried about all of the things that will eventually revolve around my daughter when her grandparents take her and so on.

Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much.

I am a vegan, but I would like to know is what make the pigs who eat meat think that they are stronger than us , because some of thje smartest people in the world are vegen or vegatarian(albert einstein) And show me proof of why you think we are " insane" when most of you people saying that are the people with no jobs and your fat!

Vegans, Vegetarians, Pescetarian VS Carnivores and Omnivores

On one side you could say - it's natural, predator eats prey, dog eats dog

On the other side you could say - there's enough meat substitutes out there that we shouldn't have to kill anything.

Or you could say eating animals is OK providing they are kept and killed 'humanely'. (If it's possible to 'kill' 'humanely')

WHAT SAY YOU?

It seems that most of the vegetarians I have ever met are introverted, lack social skills and shy away from social contact. They usually cling to non-scientific notions such as astrology, palm reading, crystal power and the like. Not coincidentally, they all seem to have had rather horific childhoods.

Humans are the only animals on this planet that continue to consume milk even when our bodies mature and we no longer need it (your mother's milk). One question, why? Cow milk is not intended for humans. And don't give me that calcium BS, you can still get calcium else where.
