Low blood pressure isn't particularly dangerous. The only thing that might happen is you could pass out. I have low blood pressure, I've never taken any particular precautions regarding it and it's never really been a problem. I just get the occasional dizzy spell if I over do things a bit.

Increase you salt intake a bit, decrease your sugar in take. Eat well balance meals.
Go for brisk walk. Start with few minutes and increase it a minute a day.

Try chewing on dried Liquorice root, the root of (in Latin) Glycyrrhiza glabra. It causes a rise in blood pressure. And it tastes nice! Dutch children have been chewing it for centuries and it is a flavor found in allsorts of candy.

If the guy has only low BP then he can use more salt and cheese sort of things...
But if he is suffering from over weight its not good to have oily food.

drinks lots of non-alcoholic fluids. sports drinks that are high in sodium and potassium.
