The Catch...I'm allergic to SOY!

I'm looking for something made with quinoa, pea or rice protien. I will eat whey, but I rather not. Any flavor is fine...something with 17 grams of protein or more. Any other non soy vegan protein source is welcome too.

Get some rice protein powder...1/4 cup and mix with of the following in a blender at high speed for 2 minutes:

8 ounces purified water

1 tablespoon any nut butter (natural peanut butter works great)

1/4 cup any fruit...I use bananas with the peanut butter but you can use any fruit that you like

Splenda or other sweetener to taste.

This will make a drink with sufficient amino acids to nourish the human system.

Note: If you don't want a fruit type drink, add cocoa powder or even some coffee grounds and sweeten to taste...makes a delicious smoothie-type drink when you add ice cubes.

Whey is not vegan so why would you eat it? You can get enough protein without replacements.

Beans and nuts are fantastic sources and almost everything else edible has some protein in it.

You can try a jamba juice. Get whatever flavor, and just ask for a protein boost. There you go....you have a good smoothie, and lots of protein.

Have you tried cold pressed, high protein flax powder?

This product comes from flaxseed that has had the oil pressed out
by cold pressing. It is vegan and also high in soluble fibre and protein [>35%].

Hemp....try hemp. It's healthier than soy anyway and usually cures more than you think, and taste delicious. Good Luck.
