Does it smell sour? Corn will if it's bad!

You can tell that the corn is spoiled just by looking at it. If it has an unusual color, like brown,then you need to cut that part out. Sometimes I buy corn that looks good except for the tips, so I just cut the bad part off and boil the rest of it.

The corn you bought may be spoiled by looking at its appearance,
by smelling and tasting it. If it's look is pale, wet and soggy and
the smell funny and taste sourish, then it's spoiled and just put
it in the rubbish bin for disposal.

One way is to observe the texture of the kernel it should have body and not show signs of shrinkage. Also if it is an ear of corn the leafs should be a healthy green color. And of course there is always the taste test.

The corn should look plump and yellow and should squirt when you dig your nail into one of the kernels. It should also not have an unpleasant smell.

if it has brown or black kernels.
if the kernels look shrunken and dried out.
if the smell is bad.

you have to fart on it and you feel it and if its hot its spoiled i tried it before when i was mental
