Like the last recall issued 2-3 years ago, the processors are involved with mixed farm's, meaning both agriculture and animal farming, this time as like the last, the fresh water supply was contaminated with animal feces and the spinach when cut is rinse before processing at the factory, and it has been traced to one farm who supplys 5 different brands and mixed green salads

Cross contamination... people think that the many breakouts of E-Coli can be traced back to bagged spinach from a company in california. They voluntarily recalled all their (fresh) bagged spinach. If you cook the spinach, it should be safe (cook it long enough.)
I sure hope popeye has a backup plan...

well from what i understand, this recall is because the bacteria e.coli was found in some. in case you don't know. ecoli will make you very sick, and then usually very dead.

they found ecoil inside the leaves so you cant wash it off and its been found in a couple of brands because its coming from one farm
