And which one is worse for your health?? Let's pretend it is nicotine gum...not cigarettes, so lung damage is not an answer (I know some bodybuilders who chew Nicorette for pick-me-ups during workouts). And caffeine...I'm talking about coffee. I'm not a diabetic, so I don't have to worry about that (*knocks on wood*). I already know that nicotine is more addicting than caffeine. I know this for a fact. I used to drink 2 pots of STRONG coffee within a 5-hour work day every day at my job and I've been smoking for a long time. Stopping drinking coffee is a million times easier than stopping smoking cold turkey. And it is a little known fact that nictoine is more addicting than both heroin and cocaine--not in the short-term, but in the long-term. So, I know this much, but I just don't know which is a stronger stimulant. I ask this because I am on medication for an anxiety disorder and the meds make me drowsy. I can't work or function unless I doing something to keep from falling asleep.
