The other day I heard that if you microwaved a peep (those yellow easter chicks made of marshmallow) it woud puff up. Just like a marshmallow, I was told. When I told the teller I had never nuked a marshmallow, he looked at me like I grew another head.

Have you ever nuked a marshmallow or puffed a peep? If not, do you plan on doing it? If so, would you do it again?

Just so you know, I have never technically puffed a peep, either. My first one was today, and it was a pumpkin peep. So now I have puffed a pumpkin peep, just not a chick peep. No animal cruelty here, although it may be enough to make a vegetarian cringe!

No. I have never puffed a peep. It is an interesting idea I suppose. I do not plan on microwaving one any time soon. When your friend microwaved the poor innocent yellow chick, did he say anything about hearing the peeps of anguish comming from the microwave? SO inhumane!
-Is it JUST like a marshmellow? does that mean we can make peep sandwiches out of graham crackers and hersheys now? hmmmm
Do vegetarians eat peeps? You have raised more questions than can possibly be answered!:)

I played around with nuking marshmallows in the microwave when I was younger. It's old news to me...and common sense that a marshmallow peep would do the same :op

Yeah, LOL, my son and I used to do that all the time. It's fun, because they look so funny when they come out, and if you watch them while they are in the microwave - they kind of move about.

Peeps rule!

PUFFING A PEEP? Are you INSANE? Do you want the ASPCA arresting you for cruelty to peepers? I honestly don't have the desire to puff a peep....might become addicting anyway.....then I'd be a peep puffer.....on the streets...begging for just one more peep to puff....
