eat it now! thats about all you can do.. the cell structures of the lettuce are now all messed up and as soon as it gets a chance it will get nasty!! Sorry :(

I'm sorry to tell you, you can't salvage salad mix that has been frozen. Lettuce is mostly water, and when the water freezes it ruins the lettuce. Once the frozen lettuce is thawed, the lettuce will fall apart and result in an extremely slimy and undesirable end-product.

We all hate throwing away money in the form of food but that's what you need to do. It won't be any good. Just chalk this one up to experience and be more careful next time.

SNAP, But you will not produce anything that resembles a palatable dish with frozen salad, unless of course you enjoy the medditerrean mix with your ice cream. LF
