My family has two foreign exchange students staying with us this year, one from Bulgaria and one from Brazil. They are both amazing girls and talk so much about their home foods that i would like to surprise them by making a dish for them from their countries. Can anyone help me?

Which is better Chinese, Korean or Japanese food? I like all but lately I prefer Japanese food as it's not so greasy.

I love green tea. But more specifically the type often served at Chinese or Japanese restaurants aka the color is actually GREEN! I have bought a lot of teas at the grocery store and although they're green tea, the brew color is still brown just like regular tea and the taste is very bitter.
Can anyone recommend a brand of green tea that actually brews up green in color and has a mild taste?
Thanks

I travelled to the northwest US on business and I was taken to a restaurant that also served very interesting food. Apparently, I was told that it was popular in that region of the states...they eat squirrels, possums, bear, and they even sold candy coated scorpions.

With that being said, why is it disgusting that asians eat dogs, snakes and bugs if some some americans share a taste in these "exotic and odd" foods.

I was listening to radio program the other night and they were saying that they ate roadkill.

Now I could never do this.

But are there any genuine people out there who do indeed eat roadkill?

Thanks

There is this Chinese desert that I really like but I don't the American or Chinese name of it. It is like this coconut flavor jello that has yellow bean and tapioca in it. The color is white like a paper white. The yellow bean is more like hard than paste. Can anyone tell me what it's called?

Can you please tell me what it is called?
And if you know, how to prepare it?
Also, what spices are in it?

I'm not sure what's in it - cabbage, maybe, carrots, shredded crab leg meat...it's kinda spicy and everything is sliced in really thin julienne strips. I had it once at a sushi place out of town that I can't remember the name of but if I had the name of the salad I could try to replicate it at home. (Six weeks pregnant and having a MASSIVE craving here.) Thanks!
