I'm not sure what's in it - cabbage, maybe, carrots, shredded crab leg meat...it's kinda spicy and everything is sliced in really thin julienne strips. I had it once at a sushi place out of town that I can't remember the name of but if I had the name of the salad I could try to replicate it at home. (Six weeks pregnant and having a MASSIVE craving here.) Thanks!

Sorry if the word "salad" was misleading - there's no lettuce. It's honestly just a pile of really thinly sliced...stuff. I *want* to say it sounds something like "Mallory"...?
It's a cold salad and I think the "sauce" (which was really light) may have been mayonnaise-based.

I make this version with some noodle. This salad has a spicy-hot zip from the chile paste in the mayonnaise. A similar spread is tucked into some varieties of sushi.
Ingredients
8 ounces uncooked soba (buckwheat noodles)
1 cup frozen shelled edamame (green soybeans)
1 cup diced English cucumber
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 teaspoons white miso (soybean paste)
1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon chile paste with garlic (such as sambal oelek)
1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
1 1/4 cups fresh bean sprouts
Preparation
Cook soba in boiling water 2 minutes; add edamame. Bring to a boil; cook 2 minutes. Drain; rinse with cold water. Drain; cool. Place soba mixture in a bowl. Add cucumber and onions.
Combine mayonnaise and next 5 ingredients (through oil); stir with a whisk. Pour over the soba mixture; toss well. Top with bean sprouts.

Don't know what it's called but sounds easy enough.
Just Juliane up some cabbage carrots and cucumbers. Then add some shredded crab meat. Make a spicy dressing with rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. For heat add chili flakes and maybe some chili oil.

1 tablespoon fresh parsley
2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
1. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Add the green onions and coleslaw, tossing gently to coat.
