There is lead in the toys from China and there were infectious diseases in China (SARS) so why would you eat food from China? Little baby corn in cans clearly marked made in China and why you say food not eaten in China but is American. Look at cans and see where the Chinese food is grown.

Many Chinese restaurants in America do not offer authentic Chinese food, although you can still find those kinds of restaurants. And even if the stores are owned by Chinese people, they may not even be native to that country, but born here. Because of that, those Chinese Americans running the restaurants probably aren't even aware that what they're selling to you is not "real" Chinese food.

The reason they say it is because nearly all the dishes they serve are Americanized versions of Chinese food... recipes adapted or invented for the American pallette.

It resembles nothing like the food you actually get in China.

They only Americanize it cause we wouldn't eat true Chineese food and it's kinda bland. Plus they can't use the meats they would normally use.
