Isn't there an Italian neighborhood somewhere in Syracuse, NY or Rochester where they make GREAT CANNOLI. No, I don't want to make my own....It just sounds like too much trouble. I know I can get fabulous Cannoli in New York City but that's much too long a drive and in my area Wegman's cannoli simply doesn't cut it. Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Not sure if spelling is correct. I searched and to my knowledge came up empty. Any help would be appreciated.

Are they the same tomato-based things? Is there a different recipe for sauce and gravy or is it just a geographical discrepancy?

The Syracuse, Binghamton, Ithaca area would be ideal but anyplace else, other than the New York City area is ok too. I found an Italian pastry shop in Flushing, NY that had the most fabulous Cannolis I have ever tasted but that is a five hour + trip from my house.

One of my children loves pork fried and shrimp fried rice from Chinese restaurants. My attempts to cook this at home have been completely unsuccessful. The canned "Chinese fried rice" which I bought at the grocery store was even worse. What is the secret? I hope it's not MSG. What variety of rice should I use?
