The Syracuse, Binghamton, Ithaca area would be ideal but anyplace else, other than the New York City area is ok too. I found an Italian pastry shop in Flushing, NY that had the most fabulous Cannolis I have ever tasted but that is a five hour + trip from my house.

Silversid. Yes they have them at Wegman's but they are not made on the premises. Also after eating the cannolis in Flushing, I am no longer interested in the Wegman's cannolis. They simply do NOT compare

All cannolis are NOT ALIKE. I have to tell you I went to Italy last April and could not find great Cannolis there. The cannolis in Flushing are AMAZING, BETTER THAN THE ONES I HAD IN ITALY. Ok, the person who KNOWS what a GREAT cannoli should taste like and who has actually eaten one somewhere in New York State except for the NYC area and can tell me where that place is will get BEST ANSWER FROM ME.

Margaret B. I am soooo jealous. My grandmother was Italian too, but she never made Cannolis. She used to make a delicious pastry called Sphingi which were like doughnut balls dipped in honey. Oh god, they were soooo goood.
