Head down to L Manze which can be found at:
76 Walthamstow High Street
London
E17
Telephone 020 8520 2855
Nearest Tube: Walthamstow Central
This pie and mash shop was established in 1929, with the décor has been well preserved. It's a real step into the past and very popular. They're sticking to traditions and rightly so.
It's a beauty alright - http://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/index/environment/land/buildings/design-awards/des-awards2004/da04-best-rest-commendation.htm

yes i think people still eat pie mash and some liquer because the tast of pie with liquer gives it a more interesting taste and also it feels you up much more.
I ain't much of a fan of it but i have tryed it once.

They do!!! I was shocked to find out. I met a young man from Bow not long ago and he goes every week for his pie and mash, somewhere near Bethnal Green. There is also a pie and mash shop in Debden Broadway which looks like you are entering a 1950's time warp and is worth going in there just for that!

Just before I moved from Crawley in West Sussex a Pie`n`Mash shop opened up in 1989 and they could not keep up with the demand. I have not been to Crawley since, but I would guess it would be still there. Mmmmmm Comfort food.

Yeah I love it - there still a market for it, all the shops are busy all the time, always a brilliant atmosphere - the decors usually great, some of the shops are listed now, if you come to London you must try it. There's a good one in Walthamstow High St, E17.

I used to go to the Pie & Mash shop in Chapel Street Market, Angel, Islington, North London. My favourite were the jellied eels; I believe, it is still flourishing,

I think the most popular one is Manzies (or most famous to be exact) either down the market in Walthamstow or Sutton high street.
The famous one in Greenwich is about to be turned into a burger bar so that may point to a gentle decline in demand.
