The best antidote is to have some raita with your meal. I usually put some right on top of whatever I'm eating (which is something usually sick-hot). I then eat some during the meal as well. The restaurant owner said that raita is the "fire extinguisher".

let me think..hmm. the last time i felt that way, i took ENO. it helped a little, then i had chicken soup (and french bread tore into smaller pieces dipped in the soup.) that helped alot.
i hope you're feeling better by now. drinks lots of water.
