I lived In Hawaii for 8 years on Oahu. Salt Lake area there is a Korean Restaurant named Soon's BBQ. I loved a dish called Meat Juhn (not sure if I spelled it right) It was thin slices of beef with like an egg wash then fried served with Kim Chee and white rice. Any ideas ? is this an actual korean dish or something they made up.... I have tried to duplicate but ....?

Ello everybody. My boyfriend is beginning to get more into his asian culture and wants a wok for his birthday.
ANyway, I’ve been looking around and haven’t made a decision yet as to what is a good long lasting Wok that is big but also a big bargain. I'll will continue to look around but could possibly some of you cool chiefs out there give me some good pointers as to what’s the best wok to use. Any information is good information... unless you’re here to hate. If that’s the case dont expect me to respond to your immaturity.

Thanks!

I love those spicy Korean noodles. If anyone can also name another spicy Asian noodle brand, I would love to buy them. All I need to know is where to get them in America.

Yes, when visiting my sister in Hawaii, i became aware of the fact that koreans(i believe it was that 100% of asians) who adored "black dog" as a tasty morsel.
firstly, out of curiosity (only)what does black dog taste like? and what type of korean recipes or flavorings do the koreans use?

[i am taking a VERY detached approach to this serious question and it is MERELY out of curiosity]

When I was in Hawaii, my sister had adopted a beautiful black dog as a pet. Her name is "Lucky". The poor thing had scars under her arms from apparently being 'saved' from a korean bbq while on a skew.
So she thank God was saved many yrs. ago.
and b4 anyone adopts a pet dog in hawaii there's a legal paper one has to even sign saying that they will not eat the dog.
(I couldn't believe it was that BAD over there!!!!!)
Apparently there are a lot of "Lucky's" in Hawaii fortunately.

*May I introduce to some of the Korean's out there the brilliant idea of choosing fish to eat instead of black dog?

I used to be able to find canned whole green chilies in the grocery store.
Now I can only find chopped green chilies.

Do you know if they still make canned whole green chilies?

(I live in Edmonton, Alberta)
