"De gustibus non est disputandum" (=Tastes cannot be disputed)is what the Romans said centuries ago. It is rather a delicate issue nowadays to talk about such preferences, as it may sound prejudiced or nationalistic to some people. However, I should think the Turkish(Ottoman) cuisine is most appealing to many. It is a blend of various cultures that the Turks came into interaction during their westward move from Central Asia centuries ago. On the way, they met with Caucasian, Persian, Arab cuisines and they carried them into Anatolia where they interacted with the local Byzantine culture (which itself was a mixture of some). Then they moved into the Balkans and blended their already enriched cuisine with the Greek, Bulgarian, Romanian and Slavic ones. Without getting into a controversy of the "origins" of a certain dish, Turkish cuisine has a wide range of meat, chicken, fish and vegetable dishes that can suit different diets and tastes. Just to give an example, there are over forty recipes for preparing aubergines (eggplants).

I think everyone here seems to like cuisine with lots of spices and sauces. from italian to mexican to asian the general preferences seem to be spices and sauces.
I personally like everything but i grew up on portuguese home cooking so id have to say that it is the best.
Apart from that my other favourite is everything with spices and sauces.
