Gizmo,

I gotcha beat, buddy:

Skippy Honey Nut Roasted Chunky Peanut Butter
Farmer John Maple Bacon
Whole grain bread

YUMMY! The bad thing is, with all the protein, it fills you up for the entire day.

What is HP sauce? I want to try it on my sandwich.

Another that I get from La Petit Jardin restaurant in Los Angeles:

Croque Monsier

Ham and swiss cheese on sourdough bread
Topped with a Bechemel sauce and more cheese
Bake until brown

That smoked eel on white bread sounds SO good.

But I like to eat leftover turkey on bagel bread that has been smeared with butter and toasted, with red leaf lettuce and avocado. There's also pulled roast chicken with garlic mayonnaise on a crusty french loaf. I also like toasted white bread with thick ham and sauteed green beans.

The Macdonald's of French-Vietnamese food is called Lee's, and it serves sandwiches on 10-inch long french loaves no wider than 3 inches. They're in both traditional French and French-Vietnamese styles, and they're great.

For an easy sandwich I'll go with a tomato sandwich with white bread and provolone cheese to go with a slice of tomato and have it grilled. I love to make a Chorizo Argentino sandwich. This type of chorizo is very similar to the Italian sausage but it does have a different flavor to it. I BBQ the chorizos with the help of hickory wood and prepare a mix of melted butter, olive oil and "chimichurri" (an Argentinian sauce) to pour over some onions and sautee them in a bbq pan. In a roll of bread with some cheese ?! Oh boy!!!! Great for in house tailgating.

Two slices of decent white bread - sliced by me and bought at the bakery - the thinest possible spread of Marmite, a fresh leaf of iceberg lettuce (salt and pepper), a few prawns from last night's Indian meal, a spring onion, another lettuce leaf (salt and pepper) topped by the second slice of bread spread with a smidgen of Marmite.

I guess my favorite sandwich would be a grilled cheese with two kinds of cheese and it has to be made the old fashioned way in a skillet on the stove. Second favorite would be peanut butter and banana.

My favorite is pretty much anything from Paneras. I also love Elvis' favorite sandwich; the peanut butter and banana. Grilled PB&J is good on occasion. But, next to Panera's sandwiches, I love grilled cheese!!

I have two.

One is a whole grain one with brie cheese or goat cheese melted and having money and walnuts on top.

The second one is: smoked eel, just plain on white bread, sooo good.
