wow, okay. for real now. when i was younger, there were 2 local chinese restaurants that were closed up for serving cat, possum, groundhog, and other weird stuff. they were found in their freezers during a surprise inspection.

now that im older, the few times ive gone to chinese restaurants, i order general tso's chicken. i dont like the other things at all. but some places, the "chicken" is like, gray and shiny. i have never seen gray, shiny chicken, it is always white and textured.

does anyone know anything about this?

I had dinner once in a persian restaurant and the salad at the table was absolutely divine. What I remember was very strong herbs, maybe some basil, and there was feta cheese on the sides. Any ideas how I might recreate this for home? Please share.
