At my favorite Vietnamese Vegetarian restaurant they make this nummy Sweet Basil Sauce with Eggplant and Tofu. It is also used for their Sizzling Eel with Eggplant.
I bought some sweet basil sauce in a jar from Lyon Supermarket (primarily Asian foods) but it was mostly made of chili sauce and was way too spicy.
Suggestions?
