I love Tai food. It is simailar to chinese but that make it as spicy as you want. The hotter the better! And they have a great iced tai tea drink that is so good and helps take the hot away! Dont drink water it only makes your mouth hotter! There is a new great place in Toledo,Ohio on the corner of sylvania and secor.

I think soul food has the best desserts. Peach cobbler, and sweet potato pie, with a side of ice cream is like Heaven in a bowl! American desserts are good, to like cheesecake, icecream, chocolate chip cookies, etc, but I gotta go with the soul food!

I steer clear from Sashimi... since I can't guarantee that the fish I buy is fresh enough...
I generally use cooked shrimp, some avocado, sometimes cucumbers marinated in rice wine vinegar... Anyone have any other suggestions? OR anyone know how to make that Spicy Mayo that the sushi restaurants use in their "spicy tuna rolls"?

I want to make something
Greek. The only guidelines are that it's not lamb and there are no eggs in the dish (allergic to eggs). Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Recently moved to Milpitas, and am looking for a good Chinese take-out restaurant in the area where I can order in English. Hoping to find someplace which serves good, "American" chinese food like sweet and sour pork and salt and pepper pork chops.

I had this Korean hot pot at a restaurant several times now but I keep forgetting the name. It’s a red seafood soup, with thick white noodles, tofu, watercrest, Chinese cabbage, and every kind of seafood possible (lobster, clams, shrimp, eel, fish, scallops, etc.). What is the name of this hot pot? And can anyone give me a recipe for the broth?

I love egg rolls and a friend of mine who delivers ingredients to chinese/asian restaurants told me that of all the items on the menu egg rolls have the most msg.... it grossed me out. He also said that even though restaurants advertise no msg they all use it anyway... So now I want to learn how to make them myself. Is it hard to make them??
