sometimes when I'm feeling extra lazy I just boil some kimchee in mild stock and put some meat to stew with it--fresh or in the worst case scenario, sliced wieners, ugh--but it really works for a cold winter night.
I also love korean barbeque... it is very tasty and there's the fun of grilling it yourself at the table. It really helps keep conversation going, it seems pretty social to me.

I have never tried Korean food but would like to
one day. As far as spicy foods, I live in Northern
Indiana in amish and like to go to a local cheese
shop and get me some habanero cheese, that
stuff if super spicy and has a great flavor.

I LOVE KIMCHEE! GO KOREAN FOOD! Try the kal-bi and bul-go-gi if you don't like the taste of really ethnic foods. It's a korean bbq-d beef. Deelish!

my boyfriend is korean, and i love korean food especially kimchee, bul go ki and the nang myung (cold spicy buckwheat noodles)
not sure how to spell these foods, but I love them.

i like the well fermented cabbage kimchi, but i prefer it not too spicy. Their food is great, but i like it better when it's not spicy.
as for spicy food, you're barking at the wrong muncher here.

i love korean food although my husband always complains that i stink like a korean after i eat it, but kimchee smells like trash and i cant eat it, or even be near it
