"like" is really an understatement. I just love how they combine sweet and salty, or sour and creamy, fulfilling just about 20 cravings in a single dish. my absolute favorites are pad see ew (the chewy flat noodles with a sweet garlicky soysauce, hmmm) and all the "tom" soups--that lemongrass is just the thing, with or without the coconut milk. Plus anything mango. I just hate that every time, I have to let go of the other 20 things i want to order.

I moved to Australia a few years ago and was surprised by the Thai influence here. No Mexican food - go figure. :-( But, some awesome Thai places. I have learned to love Thai green curry and chicken and cashew nuts. :-))

I love Thai food. The spicy sauces they use are out of this world.

did you know authentic royal thai food is more sweet than spicy? apparently only the commoners ate spicy food in the past, the royals prefered sweet stuff!
