i absolutely LOVE italian food. there are so many tasty things you can do with it.
paninis, cold pasta, hot pasta, cold pizza, hot pizza, italian bread, all the different kinds of grilled meat and fish
and my ultimate favorite italian dessert is gelato! honestly, if you've never had it, it's like heaven in a bowl. it's like italian styled ice cream. they just prepare it differently, but it makes all the difference.
i had it first when i went to italy, and i havent found a place in the US that makes it as well as in italy. the closest i've found is this place called capo-giro's in philadelphia, pa. I think it's a chain, so you might be able to find one.
try it, its unbelievable! haha

I'll go with either the soul food or southern American desserts. My Kentuckian mom could make a peach cobbler so good that your tongue'd slap your back teeth out.
And my grandma made angel food cakes that practically floated off the plate. Grandma has been gone for over 15 years, but my husband still comments about her angel food cake and how he'd never seen one that was a foot tall until he ate at her house! :-)

My favorite type of food is Indian because of the spices, flavorings and beauty of the food. Also, the food is served with so many complimentary condiments. After Indian food, my next favorite is Korean. A little side note. When I was in college I had a job as a food taster. We tasted and rated steaks. It paid ten dollars an hour and they also served crackers and apple juice. It was the best job for a broke and hungry college student.
