We are invited to a camp-out tomorrow night & the invitation said to bring a snack to share... The problem I am running into is we will be outside so there isn't a way to keep anything cold & I'm not sure if I can plug a croc-pot in or anything(wanted to bring a nacho dip)... Looking for some ideas! :)

ok, i would of saved some money if i had it at the family restaurant. but thats not happening cuz some people are being idiots. anyhow, now im having it at a friends beautiful home. but now i need to rent chairs, get all the food and alcohol myself. it's not that i dont want to spend money on the party i definately do..but i have never thrown one myself so i want to know the smart ways on doing so. cost effective. price club kinda thing? platter trays? alcohol? kegs or what?
then i'll need decorations. he's turning big 5-0.
someone said get kegs and 2 buk chuck wine from trader joes.and no hard booze. (i only drink hard booze so that would kinda suck) but then someone else suggested renting a margarita (sp) machine... which sounded good.
any ideas?

I am having a passion party next weekend and have about 10-15 girls coming. I was wondering what kind of food I should serve? The party is from 4-7 and some of us might go out to dinner after.
I was thinking cheese and meats, bread and spinach dip, and chips and a 5 layer dip.
Any other suggestions?

I am really tight on money right now and it seems as if EVERY MONTH something comes up-a kids fundraiser-birthday party-etc.etc. and I dont want my kids to miss out on the fun of the birthday party just because mom cant afford to buy an extravagant birthday gift. Any ideas on low priced gifts but are not cheap as in falling apart ? I feel bad being the cheap one at the birthday party but you kind of have to look out foryour kids first. FOOD ON THE TABLE.

My daughter is soon having a teen party. They may not exactly be teenagers yet, but it's a coed party and she wants it to be "cool. " What should these 12 years olds do at this party ? We have a trampoline, and live on the water, but she insists we need more, non-childish activities... Please HELP, the party is soon !
P.S. No themed ideas, please. Too little kiddish .
THANK YOU !

I am holding our 6th annual Anti-Al-Qaeda B-B-Q. This is a all pork BBQ.We have been having one since 2002. We believe that the lives lost on 9/11 would want us to throw a party to remember them, not sit quietly by and let this day pass without making enough sound to let those that think they can spook or intimidated us into silence belive they can affect our lives and dreams.
Things needed
a good sense of humor
a sence of loyalty to our freinds
even those we have not and will never meet
pride in who we are
A bunch of freinds to share in our feasts
Pork and anything else you can think, that Al-Queda hates
A grill and or cooler loaded with things they hate
pork roast, pork ribs, pork loin, pork chops, deviled eggs with bacon, BLT salad, pork and beans, oh and lots of choices they hate choices. So I ask you to choose. Choose to be heard, choose to cry, choose to party, choose to make so much laughter that half way around the wourld our troops will know that they are not alone

I'm having a girls night at my house, there will be about 7-10 girls total. I would really like to make something unique and tasty. I've had skittles voka before which could be served in shots glasses. I wanted to know if there were similar drinks that could be made with other types of candy and different types of not too expensive but good quality alcohol. I'm on a budget. The MAXIMUM I would like to spend per bottle would be $20-30 per bottle.
thanks in advance :-)

She will celebrate her 25th birthday on 9th Sept in a totally new way. We will invite only a few very close like-minded friends. After cake-cutting she will dance for an hour while drinks will be served to the guests. She will also strip a few cloths from her body and give thrill to the guests. She will remain with a panty and bra only for longer period of the dance. Please suggest the most suitable type of lingeree for her, its color, color of the out-fit etc. With your suggestions we want to make the party a grand one.
