Waxed paper with just a TINY bit of Pam spray oil on it.

If you spray the wrapping with a non stick spray( like PAM ), there shouldn't be a problem.

Waxed paper would be your best bet. If you're still nervous about it, you could spray the waxed paper with cooking spray, then wipe most of it off, so that only a thin layer remains.

Everything will stick to it but for the best way to warp you should probably use waxed paper.

maybe stick toothpicks in it and then wrap them so it doesn't touch the apple

i always used cellophane wrappers i bought in packages of 24 (because it was cheaper).
they were easier to use the precut ones because i had to make more that 24 at a time.
