Hi : i know u all are probably tired of looking at this again but we have made the final rmenu this time and turned it into the printers so there is no going back .but i would love your feed back: main course: meatballs in gravy and ham and cheese and chicken salad and pimento cheese on baby crossiants

cocktail sausages in bbq sauce

2 assorted veggie trays with dip

2 fruit trays with dip

bottled water, soda, tea and coffee

I haven't read any of your previous questions, but that sounds like a fun reception. Actually it sounds a lot like my first wedding reception food! Could you sneak in a bread bowl hummus dip with bread cubes and tortilla chips? I love these kind of receptions where it's not a stuffy sit-down formal dinner. People can snack and mingle at the same time. Don't worry about BBQ stains, that's what the dry cleaner is for! :)

Pimento cheese reminds me of the scary things I would find in my great grandma's fridge as a kid... I would probably have done turkey, provolone, thinly sliced cucumber, and avocado spread with the crossiants, 'cause that's one of my fav sandwiches ever.

It does seem like there are several messy/drippy things. Watch the dress. The cake sounds awesome though.
