How would you plan the ultimate 9/11 Tribute B-B-Q!!!!!! 11 days until HONOR?

I am holding our 6th annual Anti-Al-Qaeda B-B-Q. This is a all pork BBQ.We have been having one since 2002. We believe that the lives lost on 9/11 would want us to throw a party to remember them, not sit quietly by and let this day pass without making enough sound to let those that think they can spook or intimidated us into silence belive they can affect our lives and dreams.
Things needed
a good sense of humor
a sence of loyalty to our freinds
even those we have not and will never meet
pride in who we are
A bunch of freinds to share in our feasts
Pork and anything else you can think, that Al-Queda hates
A grill and or cooler loaded with things they hate
pork roast, pork ribs, pork loin, pork chops, deviled eggs with bacon, BLT salad, pork and beans, oh and lots of choices they hate choices.So I ask you to choose. Choose to be heard, choose to cry, choose to party, choose to make so much laughter that half way around the wourld our troops will know that they are not alone

I did the decorations for the American Legion Honor Guard fundraiser the year after the tragedy. I went more with honoring, and remembering the people that were lost in this terrible tragedy

Put little fireman symbols, stars, and american flags on the barbequed meat products when you serve the main course. Also add RWB patriotic bunting and ribbons on the tables and chairs. You can also get some American flag plates and napkins to serve it with. Have some non pork for your Jewish and American moslem pals.

Recall the troops and tell them in person. I'm sure lots of them (and their loved ones) would prefer that.

PS. - Al Qaida really HATES egg salad.

I think that is wonderfull what you do to keep the memory of the fallen alive, as well as showing that we still carry on no matter what is thrown our way.. Here is a cute idea, hang little pictures of like bin ladden inside a target around your bbq area, and have a few darts so your quesst can play a alquada version of (pin the tail on the donkey) Just a thought. Glad to see you have made it a tradition happy bbq'ing!!!!!!

seems futile...

i was near the pentagon when that "jet" hit...

i'm digusted... unhappy with the way things were and are being taken care of...

since then it seems anything of joy has a bitter taste... maybe once this administration takes a huge dump like it should.. maybe i can get some answers... REAL ones.. not this messed up crap i hear from one day to the next...

until then... until some things that don't make sense are explained to me...

that beer's not going to be a crisp and delicious as it once was... back before a very questionable administration took over...

OH and i'd like to see our national guard back doing the job they're suppose to be doing... NATIONAL affairs...

oh and mr. bush.. why if bin laden did this... why is his head not on my silver platter?

red wht blu balloons. and streamers
patriotic napkins and red/wht/blu plates and plastic ware.
we would bbq pork ribs, burgers, sausage.
pasta and tater salad, sure i'll throw bacon in my tater salad
fruit salad
good old amerian beer!!!!!
and being that most our friends are fire fighters we will reallllly live it up!!!!
