Stuffed shells are sooooo good! Pasta salad is good too. I normally pig out on Saturdays and try to go light on Sundays. Crap I haven't eaten breakfast yet! ( o _ 0 ) Should I eat PNJ sandwhich on toast, or should I eat yogurt or Pancakes with sausage for breakfast?

Hi!
I am hosting a Day After Christmas party for my inlaws side of the family that I won't get to see on Christmas Day. We don't want to do a sit down dinner, we just want to have people help themselves when hungry. We do want more than just appetizers though.

We want to spend the time talking, visiting, and playing board games. Any food suggestions? What would be the easiest to serve?

I also have 2 out of the 15 that are vegetarians, so I will probably be making more than one thing. Got any ideas?

What have you done in the past?

I am thinking of either getting pizza or donuts from Dunkin' Donuts. We have already had a pizza party not that long ago, but the kids really enjoyed it. Ultimately, I am going to have my students vote, but what would you rather have: pizza or donuts?

I had a stomach bug a few days ago. Now I'm pretty healthy. I'm in the mood for something good, maybe from a restaurant, or supermarket, no idea what to get though. Nothing crazy like curry but I might be up for some light chinese food like something in a white sauce, if I can't think of anything else.

I'm planning on baking Russian Tea Cakes, but there's this one thing I'm going nuts over. On its list of ingredients, it says,
-3/4 cup very finely chopped pecans (2 1/2 oz)

Is it referring to raw nuts? or roasted? Simmered, poached, boiled??? D: ?

I had steak for my dinner last night.....I fried it with some onions and then smothered them in peppercorn sauce and it was fab. Got another bit of steak and can't decide what to do with it.... Thinking either the same again or cut it into strips and fry with onion and yellow pepper and some marinade and then add noodles. What do people think? Or any other ideas. Needs to be reasonably simple and using things that I already have in my kitchen. Oh and nothing with mushrooms!!
