I had steak for my dinner last night.....I fried it with some onions and then smothered them in peppercorn sauce and it was fab. Got another bit of steak and can't decide what to do with it.... Thinking either the same again or cut it into strips and fry with onion and yellow pepper and some marinade and then add noodles. What do people think? Or any other ideas. Needs to be reasonably simple and using things that I already have in my kitchen. Oh and nothing with mushrooms!!

I just went to slice my onion and it's off!! Talk about disappointing. And NO mushrooms.

Just cook it up and eat it! Or is that simply a mis-steak!

I don't know what kind of steak you have. I use round steak and cut it into small chunks and coat it in seasoned flour.(garlic powder, salt, pepper) Brown the meat til it's done and then add a can of consume` soup or beef broth and some Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce and a can of water. Let it cook for another good 30 minutes and serve it over white rice. Very tasty. You can add peppers and onions to it, too. As it cooks, the broth gets thick and it has a nice flavor.

Cut into 1/4 inch strips. Chop an onion. Fry the onion in a little oil. Add the steak, salt and pepper and some Lawry's seasoned salt. Pour in a small can of petite diced tomatoes, 13 oz. Pour over rice or in a burrito. Steak Picado!

Fry or broil you steak to desired taste (salt and pepper)and my favorite is to top it with sauteed onions, mushrooms and green peppers, place on top of steak and top with mozzarella cheese/melted.
Serve on Hoagie roll or serve on plate with baked potato, veggy and a nice hard roll with fresh butter.
